Backhouse hosted an interior design event at its show home in Moreton-in-Marsh at the weekend. The free event, in partnership with Andrew Henry Interiors, featured soft furnishing specialists Thread and Dandy and guests enjoyed a day filled with interior inspiration, expert advice and top tips to help elevate the aesthetics in their homes.

Backhouse’s stunning show home, at the development, was the perfect backdrop to showcase the latest design trends for 2024 and how to integrate them into a living space.

Emily Adams, Sales and Marketing Director at Backhouse, said: “This was an ideal event for locals and customers who were interested in interior design and looking for inspiration on what to do with their own homes. It was lovely to get so much positive feedback from guests about our new development.

“The event also turned into quite a social one with neighbours meeting each other for the first time, excited about becoming part of the new community.”

Andrew Henry, Director at Andrew Henry Interiors, added: “It was very well attended with lots of interest from people who have either bought or reserved homes on the development, both for the interior design services and Thread and Dandy window treatments for their new homes.”

Backhouse launched the development, on Evenlode Road, in Moreton-in-Marsh in the summer and it has sold well since then. This brand-new development is situated on the edge of the vibrant market town in the Cotswolds and close to areas of outstanding natural beauty.

The collection of 67 three, four- and five-bedroom contemporary homes are all carefully designed by award-winning local architects, Clifton Emery Design, and offer an exclusive and distinctive edge, reflecting Backhouse’s ethos of creating the best of modern living for buyers at affordable prices.

Visitors to the show home appreciate the craftsmanship of the build and materials used by Backhouse as well as seeing first-hand the superb interiors. With an immediate appreciation for space and light via high ceilings, wide corridors and large windows, each home has open and spacious living areas together with high-specification fixtures and fittings.

Backhouse was born out of a desire to establish an innovative British housebuilder that could deliver new homes of outstanding design quality that respond to the needs of today’s lifestyles delivering homes with more space, light and flexible living options re-defining what a home looks and feels like.

From its offices in Chippenham, Backhouse continues to build on its existing portfolio of five completed developments and seven further projects, at various stages, extending across the South of England, from Somerset and Wiltshire to The Cotswolds and Oxfordshire.
