Construction work at Lovel’s Farm in Castle Cary continues.
An idea transitions into a conversation, follows with an appointment, then a design, closely tracked by construction and finally a new home. Admittedly an over simplified summary of our approach to housebuilding but one that is firmly rooted in the idea that UK new homes can and should be better.
Our close relationship with our architect AHMM has meant we have been able to harness the very best of their design expertise to make intelligent and innovative choices on how to create our new homes at Lovel’s Farm. Internal and external spaces are planned to provide homeowners with the kind of environment that responds to the way they live. Light, ventilation and volume are priorities as are storage, sustainability and connectivity.
The materials selected for our new homes are beginning to shine through as the first of the new homes emerge. Brick and slate work brilliantly with the local setting and are sensitively used to provide contemporary and generous living spaces. With the exterior looking as good as this, we can’t wait to move on to the interiors.Back to news
